Can I Upgrade To Lipo

I would like to upgrade my battery from Nimh to Lipo. But the motor I have says it can only go up to 7.2V and Lipo batteries start at 7.4V. Is it ok to upgrade to lipo or should I just stick with nimh. Thanks. SoulHunter36 is offline
